(Matthew Macfadyen) Lon Travers, spent most of his life trying to prove himself to his overbearing father, Quentin Travers. The Council, feeling that the young Watcher needed to log some "field time," assigned him to Omega Team to get some real world experience. He shares a strong bond with his sister Tamsin.

Matthew Macfadyen was born in 1974 in Norfolk to an actress and drama teacher mother and a father who was in the oil business, which resulted in his family moving around the world a great deal. He has a younger brother Jamie and his grandfather directed amateur drama. He attended Oakham School between 1990 and 1992.

He studied at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating in 1995. He first began working primarily on the stage, before branching out into Television. His highest profile TV role to date was Spooks (known as MI5 in the US), which he appeared in between 2002 - 2004.

He has increasingly been working in films since he left Spooks, including roles in Pride and Prejudice.

He married Spooks co-star Keeley Hawes in November 2004, and they have two children.
